Doctors from a South-Korean sister-city have come to the capital of the Russian Far East for the 14th time. According to the head of international Relations Department of Khabarovsk City Administration Tatiana Ivanova they are going to conduct medical examination of 11 children who need surgical treatment on the first day and choose four or five people. These children will go to South Korean in about a month. The children who already had operations in 2012-2015 are going to be checked on the second day. The doctors are going to see 21 children.
We’d like to remind you that this project is realized within the framework of the international cooperation with the funds of Bucheon Municipality, Hospital Sejong and other South Korean sponsors. The treatment, stay and meals in the hospital, a return air ticket and medicine during the first month after the operation are free for little patients.
In 2002-2015 Hospital Sejong provided special medical assistance for 50 Khabarovsk children. The agreement between Khabarovsk City Administration, Bucheon municipality and Hospital Sejong was prolonged last year.
